SENATOR SCHEDULES MEETINGS IN ALL 99 COUNTIES
U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley will be in Grand Junction on Thursday, Jan. 19, to meet with area constituents at the Grand Junction Community Center, 212 Main Street, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
This will be Grassley's town meeting for Greene County. He announced this week that he will hold town meetings in all of Iowa's 99 counties in 2012.
Grassley's town meeting for Guthrie County will be Wednesday, Jan. 18, from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. at the Panora Community Center on the town square.
Grassley has held at least one meeting in each of Iowa's 99 counties every year since he was first elected in 1980. This year's slate of meetings kicks off with meetings in 36 counties in January, including 25 town hall meetings.
